Universal Free School Meals

All children in Reception, Year One and Year Two are entitled to a free school meal each day under the Government Universal Free School Meals Scheme. 

Please note that Universal Free School meals and Free School meals are slightly different - if you are on certain benefits, we also strongly advise you to apply for Free School Meals - if you are entitled then you will only have to apply once and this entitlement will carry on for the rest of primary and secondary education, it will also give you access to the Holiday Activity Fun scheme (more info here), and also any Government approved funding for vouchers for food during school holidays etc.

 

For children in Key Stage Two, (Years 3, 4, 5 & 6) if you are entitled to certain benefits, you may be able to claim free school meals - for further details on eligibility please visit the Dudley Free School Meals page.  

Please consider applying if you believe that you are eligible as this also provides extra funding for the school through Pupil Premium.
